Privacy Policy
- Alpha Shooting Range Ltd. (registered office: 2377 Örkény, inner area sports facility 2502/2., company registration number: 13-09-230860, tax number: 32426850-2-13, e-mail: office@alphashooting.hu) – hereinafter referred to as ASR – is the data controller responsible for the processing of your personal and other data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) Regulation 2016/679, hereinafter: GDPR).
- The privacy policy -hereinafter: Policy- sets out how ASR handles the data collected about you – hereinafter: Personal Data –, when you visit the ASR Website, its social networking services, or the applications operated by it -hereinafter collectively: Websites-, or when you contact ASR.
- The ASR Websites may allow you to access other websites, social networking services, or applications that are owned and operated by third parties. These websites carry out their own data processing independent of ASR, therefore we recommend that when visiting such websites operated by third parties, you review their privacy policies, as your personal data will be processed in accordance with their own policies.
- ASR may request you to provide certain data when using its Websites. The scope of the personal data to be provided depends on the service used, but generally includes, among others, your name, address, the number of your photo identification document, a copy of your photo identification document, your telephone number, and your e-mail address.
- ASR takes appropriate measures to ensure that your personal data is used for the purposes specified in the Policy, and will inform you of any material changes to the above purposes.
- If it is necessary to collect personal data pursuant to legal provisions or under the terms of a contract concluded with you, and you fail to provide the requested data upon request, ASR may be unable to perform the contract concluded with you or to enter into the contract intended. In such a case, failure to provide your personal data may be disadvantageous to you, for example, you may not receive certain services.
- The ASR Websites use cookies and other similar device-identifying technologies, such as transparent GIF files, pixels, and device identifiers – hereinafter collectively Cookies.
- Some Cookies are provided directly by ASR, while others are provided by third parties, such as advertising or data analytics providers.
- You can configure your browser to refuse all or certain browser cookies, or to notify you when cookies are set or accessed by the Website. Please note that if you disable or refuse the use of cookies, some parts of the Websites may become inaccessible or may not function properly.
- This Policy applies to all personal data collected or processed by ASR about you when you visit the ASR Websites and/or order and use any service of ASR, or otherwise use a service of ASR or any of its affiliated companies. Personal data is information relating to you that alone or in combination with other information can reasonably allow your identification.
- ASR may collect personal data directly from you as well as from other sources.
- ASR may also be obliged to collect personal data pursuant to legal provisions or under a contractual relationship concluded with you. Failure to provide the information may prevent or delay the fulfillment of obligations arising from the contract. When collecting data, ASR will inform you whether providing certain data is mandatory and what the consequences of failing to provide it may be.
- ASR collects the following categories of data directly from you:
- Personal data (e.g., name, gender, age, date of birth, nationality, address, photo ID number and a copy of the photo ID);
- Contact information (e.g., telephone number, e-mail address, mailing address, or mobile phone number);
- Data regarding the service provided to you.
- Your preferred marketing and communication methods (e.g., which products interest you and whether you wish to receive marketing messages from us);
- Data collected from other sources:
- Personal data (e.g., name, gender, age, date of birth, address);
- Contact information (e.g., telephone number, e-mail address, mailing address, or mobile phone number);
- ASR uses your personal data to:
- fulfill its contractual obligations with you or take the necessary steps to conclude a contract;
- fulfill your requests;
- better understand, develop, and improve its products, processes, services, and marketing strategies;
- contact you with advertisements and offers related to products and services offered by ASR and/or other companies within its corporate group;
- tailor its communication, products, and services to you;
- keep your personal data up to date;
- explore new product and service opportunities;
- fulfill its legal obligations with regulatory and law enforcement authorities;
- better understand its customers;
- maintain and improve its relationship with you;
- protect your or others’ vital interests;
- assert its rights where necessary.
- ASR processes your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Consent: where ASR has your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
- Contract: where ASR needs to use your personal data to perform a contract to which you are a party, or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b));
- Legal or regulatory obligation: where the use of your personal data is necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation (GDPR Article 6(1)(c));
- Vital interests: where ASR needs to protect the safety or vital interests of someone (GDPR Article 6(1)(d));
- Public interest: in certain cases, ASR must use your personal data for purposes of public interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(e));
- Legitimate interests: where your personal data is used within the framework of ASR’s legitimate interests, or the legitimate interests of the organization with which your personal data is shared, ensuring that your personal data and related rights are protected. ASR relies on this legal basis when using your personal data for the following purposes: ensuring that the delivery and use of our products and services comply with applicable laws and terms; protecting or defending our own rights or property, or those of others, as necessary; and detecting, preventing, or otherwise addressing fraud, criminal activity, or security, defense, or data protection incidents.
- Where the legal basis for processing is ASR’s legitimate interests, it protects your personal data with appropriate safeguards and ensures that its legitimate interests do not override your interests or fundamental rights.
- ASR’s data processing does not involve the handling of special categories of personal data or criminal personal data, except where you voluntarily provide such data and explicitly consent to its processing (pursuant to GDPR Article 9(2)(a)), or where the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of potential legal claims in accordance with GDPR Article 9(2)(f).
- ASR may disclose your personal data to the following parties:
- Service providers: Certain companies provide services on behalf of ASR and may process personal data; these include, for example, companies managing certain promotions available on the Websites, hosting service providers, providers sending e-mails on behalf of ASR, and analytics and IT service providers.
- Members of the corporate group and certain partner companies: Certain members of ASR’s corporate group, and certain partner companies, provide services on behalf of ASR and may process personal data for this purpose;
- With your consent: At your request or with your consent, ASR may share information with businesses or other organizations;
- Merchants, distributors, and other partners: ASR shares information with these external parties as necessary to provide you with a product or service;
- Professional advisors: This includes lawyers, accountants, auditors, and experts who assist ASR in its business operations and in asserting and protecting its legal claims;
- Law enforcement authorities, courts, regulators, and government authorities: ASR may share your personal data with these parties when, in our judgment, it is necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation or to protect our rights or the rights of a third party;
- Asset purchasers: ASR may share your personal data with external parties who acquire ASR’s assets or the whole or substantially all of its business, or with external parties to whom its assets or the whole or substantially all of its business are transferred. In the event of such a sale or transfer, ASR will use reasonable efforts to ensure that the recipient company processes your personal data in accordance with our privacy policies.
- ASR processes your personal data in accordance with European Union data protection laws and may transfer it to countries within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) as well as to countries outside the EEA. Consequently, when transferring your personal data to countries outside the EEA, ASR applies appropriate safeguards in accordance with its legal obligations to ensure that your personal data is adequately protected, regardless of the country to which it is transferred. These safeguards may include requiring external parties with access to your personal data to provide contractual assurances that your personal data will be protected according to requirements equivalent to those that protect personal data within the EEA.
- ASR retains your personal data in an identifiable form for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required to comply with its legal and regulatory obligations. Generally, this means that ASR retains your personal data under any of the following conditions:
- ASR reasonably needs your personal data to provide the services you have requested;
- ASR reasonably needs your personal data to protect and defend its rights and property, or to assert any existing or future claims (generally corresponding to the applicable statutory limitation periods);
- ASR reasonably needs your personal data to handle complaints related to services provided through its Websites;
- ASR reasonably needs your personal data for analytical and/or auditing purposes in connection with maintaining business records;
- ASR reasonably needs your personal data when applicable laws or regulations containing record-keeping requirements mandate the retention of personal data;
- ASR stores the personal data it processes only to the extent necessary during the term of your contractual relationship with ASR, and during any transitional period.
- In the event of judicial or other legal proceedings, ASR retains personal data until the conclusion of the proceedings (including any applicable appeal periods) and thereafter deletes or archives the data in a manner permitted by applicable law.
- ASR retains your personal data for as long as required or permitted by applicable law. Your personal data is retained until the expiration of the limitation period under Article 6:22 § (1) of the Civil Code (five years). In accordance with Sections 78(3) and 202(1) of the Act on the Rules of Taxation, data is retained for five years from the last day of the calendar year in which the relevant tax return or reporting obligation was due. For accounting documents, the retention period is eight years from the end of the relevant financial year, in accordance with Section 169 of the Accounting Act. Thereafter, ASR deletes your personal data from its systems and records and/or takes steps to anonymize it.
- You have the following rights regarding ASR’s data processing:
- Right to withdraw consent: You may withdraw your consent at any time for the collection, processing, and use of your personal data for certain purposes. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal. - Right of access to personal data: Under applicable data protection laws, you are entitled to receive confirmation from us as to whether your personal data is being processed, and if so, to request access to your personal data. Access information includes, among other things, the purpose of processing, the categories of personal data concerned, and the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data has been or will be disclosed. However, this is not an absolute right, and the interests of others may limit your right of access.
- Right to rectification: Under applicable data protection laws, you are entitled to request the correction of inaccurate personal data concerning you. Depending on the purposes of the processing, you may also be entitled to request the completion of incomplete personal data, for example, by providing a supplementary statement.
- Right to erasure: Under applicable data protection laws, you are entitled to request the deletion of your personal data.
- Right to restriction of processing: Under applicable data protection laws, you are entitled to request the restriction of processing of your personal data.
- Right to data portability: Under applicable data protection laws, you are entitled to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to transmit such data to another recipient without hindrance.
- Right to object: In certain cases, you are entitled to object at any time, for reasons related to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data. The right to object is particularly applicable where your personal data is processed for profiling in order to better understand your interests in our products and services, or in relation to certain types of direct marketing.
- You are not entitled to object, for example, where the processing of your personal data is necessary for taking steps prior to entering into a contract or for the performance of a contract already concluded.
- If you have given your consent to receive direct marketing messages through certain communication channels, you may withdraw your consent by contacting office@alphashooting.hu.
- To exercise your rights, update or correct your data, or if the personal data held by ASR is inaccurate, please contact ASR at office@alphashooting.hu.
- You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority in the relevant Member State (e.g., where you live, work, or where the alleged GDPR infringement occurred). - ASR may amend or update its privacy policies from time to time. If the Privacy Policy changes, ASR will indicate this at the top of the page. If the changes fundamentally affect the nature of data processing or otherwise have a significant impact on you, we will notify you in advance in a timely manner so that you can exercise your rights regarding your personal data (e.g., to object to the processing).
